Ubabalo Lodge offers secure and relaxed accommodation in a beautiful setting situated between Bela-Bela and Thabazimbi in the Limpopo Province of Southern Africa. The lodge is surrounded by the beauty of nature, where wildlife come to visit right on our doorstep.

Chalets
The Lodge The Lodge offers peaceful and safe accommodation for 6 guests. The unit is the largest unit and has air conditioning. There’s a main bedroom and second bedroom each with Queen size beds. The bathroom is fitted with a toilet, sink, a shower and bath. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer with ample seating. There are also tea-and-coffee-making facilities. The unit leads to the private verandah with a view of the grounds and free-roaming wildlife. Guests have secure parking. Wi-Fi is available at no extra cost.
The Kudu Kaya Koedoe Kaya offers secure and tranquil accommodation for 6 guests. The air-conditioned unit comprises an upstairs bedroom fitted with a double bed, and a TV with selected DSTV channels. The staircase leads downstairs to the living area with a kitchen, and bathroom. The bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, an oven, a microwave, a 2-plate mini-oven, a fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Wi-Fi is available at no extra cost. This unit leads out onto an undercover patio with views of the garden and wildlife. Guests have access to their own secure parking.
The Giraffe Tower The Giraffe Tower offers secure and tranquil accommodation for 6 guests. The air-conditioned unit comprises 2 bedrooms each furnished with 3 single beds and a bathroom fitted with a toilet, washbasin, and a shower. The kitchen is situated outside of the main house in a spacious rondavel with its own separate footpath and entrance. The rondavel is equipped with a wash area, a single plate gas stove, a microwave, and a freezer, and contains a dining table with ample seating. Tea- and coffee-making facilities are also available. There is a braai area on the outside of the rondavel that may be utilized. The unit leads out onto a private furnished patio, where meals can be enjoyed with excellent views of the grounds and roaming animals. Guests have access to their own secure parking. Wi-Fi is available at no extra cost.
Hunting
Due to the size of the farm (220ha), walk & stalk is the preferred method of hunting. Our hunting vehicle is available should this be required. It is perfect for beginner hunters or young hunters. Only one group of hunters is allowed out in the field at any one time.

HUNTING RULES AND CONDITIONS – SUMMARY
1. Kindly provide Ubabalo with two dates for your hunt so that we can accommodate you.
2. All hunters are to abide by the Ubabalo Hunting Regulations.
3. All hunters are to provide a copy of their firearm licenses and/or proof of competency.
4. All hunters will be accompanied by trackers.
5. The hunter that fires the shot is responsible for the account. Account payable by EFT on date of departure.
6. No head or neck shots allowed.
7. Wounded animals will be tracked at an additional cost of R300 per hour after the first hour.
8. Trophy animals are defined as representative of the species and not necessarily in terms of Rowland Ward / SCI length. Trophy lengths are not guaranteed.
Other activities
Stargazing is a popular activity at Ubabalo. This is offered to guests at R650 per person and must be arranged with management in advance.
Game drives are available at R500 per game drive.
