Indawo Game Lodge is set in the heart of the Lowveld with lots of open plains and watering holes for animals to drink from. Indawo was originally started as a hunting farm and has since developed into a 3- Star lodge with a variety of wedding, conference, and team-building venues, en-suite accommodation and entertainment.

This secluded self-catering bush camp is ideal for groups to just enjoy a relaxing return to nature.
Accommodation – 10 people in single beds (bedding supplied), no power, bathroom with shower and gas
water heater (bring own towels), fully equipped kitchen with gas appliances, lounge with fireplace, dining area with fireplace, outdoor barbeque and bonfire area.

Cold room, skinning and slaughter facility available.

Please specify your processing requirements on the carcass card provided. The carcass can be processed and cut according to your requirements at our local Butchery.

NO ANIMAL NOT LISTED ON THE PRICELIST MAY BE HUNTED.

Find out from your PH on any other animals available beforehand. No female animals to be hunted. If shot by mistake, price will be double charged.

Limited hunting is permitted during the summer months. Females may only be hunted from:

1 APRIL TO 31 AUGUST

Any female hunted outside of these periods, the price double that of the listed price.

TAXIDERMIST.

We make use of Highveld Hunters Taxidermy. Trophies must be clearly marked with all contact details (your name, address, cell no and email) as well as the trophy instructions.

NOTE

1. Deposit standard R8000 on confirmation of booking, rest payable on departure.
2. Booking will not be kept without a deposit made within seven days after date was booked.
3. If no deposit was received, date will be made available for other clients
4. On arrival guests must report at the office first for check in
5. Afterwards you will be taken to your designated accommodation booked
6. Hunters pay the full hunting tariff for the duration of their stay
7. Full tariff charged for persons more than the number of beds supplied at the camps
8. We only book one party per camp
9. Credit cards: Visa and MasterCard accepted. No cheques.
10. There is reasonable MTN, Vodacom and Cell C reception
11. All accounts to be settled at Office on departure
12. Meat Processing and taxidermy to be arranged on departure
13. If carcass is transported by yourself, a travelling permit will be issued

GENERAL INFORMATION AND RULES

Please bring these rules to the notice of your group. These rules are designed to protect you, the wilderness and to maintain the facilities for your pleasure. We promote ethical fair hunting. All hunting and pursuit of your quarry is done either on foot or from the vehicle with minimum disturbance to the game and environment. This is strictly adhered to.

1. All hunters will be asked to do practice shooting on our shooting range to ensure that their firearms are on target for long range shooting to prevent animals being injured or shots missed
2. No hunting permissible without a guide
3. No hunting permitted if under the influence of alcohol or other substances
4. All animals wounded and not found are payable at full tariffs
5. Sub adult animals payable at full tariff except where listed otherwise
6. Minimum calibre of .243 permitted for hunting
7. Ensure your weapons are safe at all times
8. No pets permitted on the reserve
9. Do not remove or damage any plants, or equipment or collect firewood in the reserve
10. If extra firewood is required, please enquire at the office or from your guide
11. No fires to be made other than in designated areas
12. Thank you for not littering
13. The supply of liquor to our staff is strictly prohibited
14. No vehicles are allowed to drive around after sunset or to use a spotlight without a guide or prior arrangement
15. Report any defects in the rooms or camp as soon as possible in order that they may be rectified for your convenience
16. Please do not remove any furniture, blankets, duvets, coverlets etc from the rooms or camp and inside furniture and bedding are not permitted around the fire
17. Speed limit on the reserve is 30 km / hour
